The femur in your hand extends into a wickedly curved scythe that flashes with malevolent energy.
School necromancy; Level sorcerer/wizard 5
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, M, F
Range personal
Target/Effect/Area 1 scythe made of bone
Duration 1 hour (see below)
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance no
This spell turns any relatively intact long bone [femur, typically] into a darkly beautiful +1 negative burst scythe. The scythe cannot be disarmed, but it can be sundered. Although made of bone, the weapon is as hard as mithral [hardness 15, 30hp]. The caster can also use the scythe to channel touch spells, and can make an attack with the scythe in place of a touch attack [resolve as a normal attack] to deliver the spell, dealing scythe damage in addition to the effects of the touch spell.
The negative burst ability of the scythe allows the caster to sheathe the weapon in rippling negative energy, dealing an extra 1d6 dmg on each strike. On a successful critical hit, the scythe deals an extra 3d10 points of negative energy damage. Even if the negative energy sheath is not active, the weapon still delivers the extra damage on a critical hit.

Author's Note: This one's probably a little off balance, as it's never been playtested. Casting time was originally a free action, but that seemed a bit too much value for the level. Please let me know what you think of it.
