A 4ft long length of chain with two iron pitons on either end, it be used as a double weapon for normal attacks (1d6/1d6). But the weapon's primary use is to aid in grapple checks (+1 to CMB when making a Grapple Maneuvers). When the target is successfully pinned, the wielder has a choice. They can pin the pitons into the ground as a free action, thus maintaining their last CMB roll indefinitely, rendering the target grappled and prone without having to physically maintain the grapple. The target can attempt to escape the chain by making a successful grapple check DC the wielder's CMB check or a strength check DC 15 + the wielder's strength modifier. The wielder's second choice is they can use both pitons as light weapons against the grappled and pinned target.
